How do I sell my pre-owned item?
Click "I want to Sell" from the menu. Use the search field to enter the product name of the item you want to sell and select it once it appears in the results. If you don’t know the name of the item or it is not showing up in your search, you can email visual@kitx.com.au with an image of the item and KITXCHANGE team will be able to assist with the name of the item.
When the item you want to sell shows up in the search results, select it and follow the prompts. Remember to provide complete and accurate information about the item’s condition, since you will only get store credit or cash once the buyer confirms its condition. Once our team receives the item, we will review the resell request within 48 hours, and have the right to approve or deny listings. Once approved, we encourage you to share your listing! The more you share, the higher your chance of selling.

What can I sell?
You can sell any item you’ve previously purchased or received from KITX no earlier than 2018. You can also sell any KITX item purchased or received from a third-party retailer no earlier than 2018. We cannot accept resale requests for any KITX item produced before 2018. Once your resell request is approved, we will feature it on the KITXCHANGE collection page.

Why can’t I sell items from before 2018?
Due to technical restraints with our new site, we are unable to accept resale requests from items ordered before 2018. Once we get this program off the ground, it is our goal to open the resale program up to earlier seasons. This is just the beginning!

How do I price my item?
You are welcome to name your price, but we will recommend a price based on the item’s age and condition, which we recommend following. We will then add a fixed amount to the listing price to cover shipping charges.

How is shipping handled?
As soon as your listing request has been submitted, you will receive an email with the shipping details. You will need to send the item to the given address within 3 days of receiving the notification. Please carefully & neatly pack your item, and drop it off at your nearest post office and provide the tracking number to the KITXCHANGE team as requested in the confirmation email.

How and when do I get paid?
When your item has been sold, you will receive a confirmation email of sale, and will receive cash in the amount of 70% of the sale price.

Do I need to take my own product photos?
You must provide recent and accurate product photos for your resale request to be approved. Resale requests without a recent photo will not be approved. For best results, take your photos in bright, natural light and upload in portrait format. The original KITX product images will populate for every resale item, in addition to any seller-generated photos.

What can I find in the preloved collection?
You will find listings of pre-owned, but gently worn KITX items. Items shown are sold by KITX customers and managed by the KITXCHANGE team who will ship the order directly to you.

How do I pay for a pre-owned item?
You will pay in a similar way as with a new KITX item: a secure checkout. Simply "Add to Cart", your item will be added to a special KITXCHANGE cart, which you will find in the top right corner of your screen once an item has been added. Once added, you can proceed through the secure checkout which is powered by Rntr.

Can I return my pre-owned purchase?
All pre-owned purchases are final unless the item is not in the condition described. If that situation occurs, you can open a dispute process by contacting hi@getrntr.com; if we confirm the dispute, we will offer a refund and ask you to return the item.

How long does shipping take?
Once the order is complete, your order will be fulfilled in less than 3 business days. The item will ship with a tracking number, and should typically arrive no more than 4 days after it is shipped. All KITXCHANGE items are sent via AusPost standard shipping. If you have any questions about shipping, please contact our KITXCHANGE Customer Service at hi@getrntr.com.

What if my order is lost/stolen?
If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered, but you have not received it, please contact our KITXCHANGE customer service team at hi@getrntr.com. Note: we do not take responsibility for lost/missing packages that show successful delivery to the order address.

Are prices negotiable?
Resale prices listed are final.

Are the items genuine?
Yes, our garments for sale on our KITXCHANGE marketplace are the real deal. The only thing missing are the high price tags! We check every listing to ensure authenticity. If you believe a garment you've received is counterfeit, contact the Rntr. customer service team at hi@getrntr.com to open a dispute for a review and full refund.

Unfortunately try on is not available.
