 *DIRT’s story started with Arizona Muse, a model and environmental activist. DIRT is a global charity based in the UK, who are working tirelessly to turn fashion into a climate solution. During Arizona’s time working as an activist, she realised that not just the food we eat, but the clothes we wear, the wood for our buildings and interiors, the herbs for our medicine and beauty products all begin as raw materials grown in soil by farmers. Conventional farming techniques degrade our soils and contribute to climate change, after discovering this, DIRT was created by Arizona. DIRT is developing a long term solution through biodynamic farming and the regeneration of soil to ensure the materials grown for textiles support the regeneration of the Earth. Dirt’s mission is to grow and process all fashion’s raw materials biodynamically, in order to prevent harm to the earth’s natural habitats.

This is Kit Willow’s, latest collaboration, a campaign to save the oceans from plastic pollution in partnership with future planet advocate 11-year-old Melbourne student Lumi Wilson.

Entitled “Save Our Seas”, the campaign aims to increase awareness and educate audiences through sales of a limited edition KITX x Save Our Seas activism tee, with 100% of proceeds going to leading conservation organisations Melbourne Zoo’s Marine Response Unit and Take 3 for the Sea.
